Anti-wrinkle injections, such as Botox, are the most common line and wrinkle treatment by a long shot.

Anti-wrinkle injections work by relaxing the contracted muscles that cause both fine lines and deep wrinkles, reducing their appearance and restoring a more youthful looking face. Over time, the muscles “learn” to relax, reducing the need for further anti-wrinkle injection treatments. Harnessing this effect early, to prevent wrinkles from forming, is often referred to as preventative.
